Puerto Morelos
Puerto Morelos is a town and seaport in Quintana Roo, about 36 km south of Cancun and 30 km north of the city of Playa del Carmen. With its tropical wet, Puerto Morelos is the entrance of Riviera Maya resort and its coastal village is known has a quiet neighborhood full of restaurants and tourist shops. The marine terminal at Puerto Morelos is the oldest, largest and most important seaport in the state of Quintana Roo.
Luxury all-inclusive and boutique hotels and resorts are located all around the town, which are distinguished for service, fine-dining restaurants and most for its beautiful blue beaches of Caribbean sea. This Port is the perfect place for a calm beach vacations away of the busiest cities but ample in tourist amenities.
Known for its National Marine Park, which is part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef; Puerto Morelos is also recognized as part of the Jewel of the Caribbean.

The town is divided by a highway and a mangrove swamp into three sections: west, east and coast east, the first section is the Colonia Joaquin Zetina Gazca, the second section is called Colonia Pescadores and the last section is the Port or the Old Port of Puerto Morelos. Visitors can arrive to this small town by plane from the Cancun International Airport and by car or bus from Cancun Playa del Carmen cities.
