Cancun

Located on the northeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The city is located on the Caribbean Sea with 22 km of white sand beaches and turquoise waters. Cancun has a tropical climate, the city is warm year-round with an annual mean temperature of 27.1 °C (80.8 °F).

It is an important renowned tourist destination in Mexico, surrounded by ecological parks and archaeological zones situated a few kilometers away, Cancun is the perfect place for diving, aquatic sports or just relaxing.

Resting on the northeast corner of the Yucatan Peninsula in the state of Quintana Roo, Cancun was a part of the ancient Mayan civilization and is still considered the gateway to the Mayan World.

Cancun is divided into five zones, Cancun Island is the first and most important hotel zone, where most of the beaches and tourist activities are concentrated, the Urban Area inhabited by the majority of the population, Puerto Juarez is the third area, there are two main docks to embark and cross over to Isla Mujeres, located just 7 km off the port and Ejidal Strip which is an area of irregularly distributed in the northern part of the city.

Currently, this destination is home to the world’s major hotel chains, luxury resorts, restaurants and bars, high street brands, shopping malls, golf courses and night clubs.

International Cancun Airport is the second busiest airport after Mexico City International Airport, but the biggest for international passengers.
